Cookies

This page explains how the XCurve AI website uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices you have.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Some are necessary for a site to work. Others help a site understand how it is used.

Your choices

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and nothing optional is set until you choose. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page.

Necessary cookies

These are always on, because the website cannot work properly without them.

• Your cookie choice: a cookie that remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, kept for 12 months so we do not ask you on every visit.
• Security and spam protection: our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process information about your browser and device to tell people from automated programs. This is used only to protect our forms.
• Staff sign in: if you are a member of our team signing in to manage the website, a cookie keeps you signed in. Visitors to the public website do not receive this cookie.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept analytics cookies:

• PostHog: we use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, to count visits and see which pages are used, so we can improve the website. We do not use it to identify you or for advertising.
• Where you came from: if you arrived from a campaign link or another website, a first party cookie called xc_source records the campaign or referring site for 30 days. If you then send us an enquiry, this helps us understand which of our activities brought you to us.

If you reject analytics cookies, neither of these is set.

Marketing cookies

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first.

Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers also let you see, block and delete cookies through their settings. If you block necessary cookies, some parts of the website, such as our forms, may not work properly. You can find guidance at ico.org.uk.
